Went to mark's house yesterday and surprisingly had BBQ for dinner! thanks mark! After that we did some ninja stuff :p then went upstairs to play COD while listening to hit girl's tracks in his father's super mega surround system speakers! D: got pumped up while playing the game of course :p

I owned my brother in COD! we had 1 on 1 ;) I don't know if he was playing properly but yeah :D yay me! :p

Stayed until around 11pm then my dad picked me up.. I was suppose to sleep over but yeah..

Anyway!

Today,

Shaun, mark and I went to the mall to watch A-TEAM!

It's such an awesome MOVIE! I recommend everyone to watch it :)

I rate it 10/10 :D

but Kick Ass is still 15/10 ;) hahaha

After that, went to eat at mac donalds then shaun dropped me off at prayer meeting :)

Went to eat dinner at this new bombay restaurant about 4 months old.

The food is really nice :) I ate a lot! and there were so much left overs :P Oh well! for lunch tmrw (A)

went home and watched the charity gala night DVD with my family! :D

My favourite character is HIT GIRL! which is Chloe Moretz :)

She is COOL! For her age.. she swears a lot :s AND she kills people like nobody's business! I recommend you to watch.. despite the swearing hehe

In one of the scenes, she received a butterfly knife for her present! It's a Benchmade Model 42 Butterfly Knife.. How I long for one... hahaha

how's your day been so far?

today i want to show you my DT model for my soon-product-to-be :D

it's to keep skateboards,
their accessories, spare parts (wheels, bolts, nuts, board),
tools to repair/ fix them,
safety gear,
and shoes

top.
it's like a workbench; where the skateboard can be repaired,
tire screws tightened modified, etc.

drawers. well these are their slots. i haven't made the front part of the drawers.
heh.
they're for keeping the tools, spare parts, shoes, safety gears and stuff :)

to kinda like 'hang' the skateboard, like so.
don't know what to call it yet.. haha got any ideas?

the Tony Hawk mini skateboard is my friend, Hanif's (white tires)
the Black Panther mini skateboard is mine :D (bright orange tires)
i lost my old ones :(

Yay I finally found the time to blog about such a wonderful camp :)

Firstly, I would like to thank all those people who made this camp such a success! As a leader of one the teams, I enjoyed this camp a lot!!! And I bet everyone who came did too :)

Thank you LORD JESUS for making this camp possible for all of us :)

22nd March 2010

Day 1 of Love Revolution Camp!

First off, most of the leaders arrived at 8 to prepare the place. The worship team had to be there even earlier! like reach there at 7 for final practices D: It was very tiring but worth it! :)

As I walked into the Asma Hall, I was strucked by such a lovely backdrop!

Good job Angie and Catherine :)

Around 8:15, people started coming in.

I was really excited to see who would come!

By 10, everyone has arrived and settled down and had their luggages in their respective rooms.

My roommates were : Johnson, Joston and Sam Chin. I don't have picture of it though..

The Camp Comm, made out of Sophia, Jerold, Michelle, Shaun, Angel and Ps. Peh Han.

They called all the leaders and assistant on stage to give an introduction to each of us, and tell why our flags were made that way.

There were 10 teams altogether!

After that, the Camp Comm called out each camper's name and assigned them to one of the 10 teams! This is my team! but i don't think it's the full picture. I will post in the end of this post which will be the last day of camp hehe

There were approximately 15 people in each group.

I certainly made new friends in my group! I hope they made friends with each other too haha

Each team had to come up with their own team cheer and war cry!

My team were the ACE OF HEARTS!

Our cheer was "Ace of hearts! Ace of Hearts! We're gonna kick your big fat butt! If you think you're so smart, think again, we all have cards! *throws our card at the audience*"

Not sure if anyone liked it, but after camp ended, I went on facebook and I saw a few people putting our cheer on their status even when they are not in my team hehe :D

Once everything was done, we did a few ice breakers with each other. I forgot what were the icebreakers called but it was super hilarious :D

In the middle of ice breakers, we had LOVE REV!

LOVE REV! basically is, when the Camp Comm shouts LOVE REV! every team has to protect their own flag. If taken, lots of points would be deducted from that group. It could happen anytime throughout the camp! It was very funny because I saw everyone holding on to their flags like as if it's worth $1000! Well, what am i talking about? =.= I think I was one of them! haha :D

All the Camp Comm would sneakily steal a team's flag! LOOK AT SHAUN IN THE PICTURE! He's so fast until the camera made him blur hahah :D go shaun! :p Abi's protecting her flag! uh-oh! she's in trouble :p

Had lunch downstairs at the restaurant!

First day, lunch, was sponsored by Jasper! Thanks :D

After lunch, we settled down in the hall again to present our cheers and war cries!

After that it was game time!

Firstly, the Camp Comm called all the guy leaders or assistant leaders. We had to rush down to the swimming pool. No idea what was the game called but it was fun :)

We had to challenge each other where we had to blow into hoses and whose face was splashed with water first loses..

I was versing Sam Kuan and before the game even started he already splashed me! I was all wet.. hahaha

So I decided to cheat :p 3..2..1.... *Sam blows* I turned the hose facing him and he splashed himself! heheh :D Of course I got DQ! :( but oh well. I was second last to leave the game..

We were given clues.. I don't think anyone took pictures of the clue.. haha

First clue was to find grass and red pavement. Immediately, my team rushed outside to the car park area..

Some of the teams forgot we had to find one of the Camp Comm..

Sophia was the first station! :)

We had to shout our cheers, team by team, and if it was good, she'd give us the second clue. I forgot what was the second clue but it was at the back of Asma Hotel where we came along Angel as the second station..

We had to drink bitter gourd! DRINK u ask? YES DRINK! Blended bitter gourd... Nothing but bitter gourd.. No added things.. What does it taste like you ask? TASTE LIKE............. *pukes*

How much to drink? HALF A BOTTLE! OMG!

If the whole team drank at least a bit, we would get extra points! Not sure if other teams did that, but my team did it :) Good job Ace of Hearts! So proud of you! :D Especially to Danny Sigar.. Our food master haha

After that, we had our third clue.. which was to find a drain..?

Jerold was the third station! and 2 people from each team had to eat.............

Of course I didn't have the guts to eat that! Marshmallows and super sweet chocoloate syrup..

We just drank bitter gourd!! bitter + sweet doesn't go very well.. :( poor Johnson had to eat for my team.. I salute you man!

Well done :)

Our fourth clue was a picture of a can of 7up.. Almost every team rushed to the restaurant because that's the only place to get a can of 7up! I thought the station was at the kedai kaling but then we were restricted to going there hahaha :D

We were roaming around the 1st floor thinking where on earth is 7up? Until one of my teammates shouted 7up could mean 7th floor up! hahaha Indeed it was at the 7th floor! Back to the hall! :)

On the top floor, My team went straight to the 2nd last game.. we didnt know we had to do another game before first..

So we just did the 2nd last game.. We had to blow balloons and tie them up. 3 people. 2 balloons.

We had to walk around a certain area to pick up 20 pieces of paper containing our team name.

Johnson, James and I played this game as you can see in the picture! It was quite hard! but extremely fun hehe :D

We were not allowed to touch the balloons with our hands! It's funny how the balloon keeps moving around. We had to be careful.. If dropped, we had to start from outside the ring again :(

Eventually, we finished collecting the 20 pieces of paper and rushed to Ps Peh Han who was the station master for this game.

anyway, this is the game that my team skipped.. haha oops (A) we had to use our imaginations and make something out of a string by tying each team member together.. I don't have the picture of our team :\ but we simply tied each other's finger and eventually I came up with the picture of a penguin! haha it was so cool :D Miss pushpa let us through :) Thanks!

After that, each of our teammates must pass through that before we had to army crawl to the stage! My team was the 2nd last group to finished the whole entire thing :\

I think the best flag goes to ME! (A) hahaha jk.. but seriously.. ours could glow in the dark.. hahaha ok i'm really jk this time :D anyway! I really like abi's flag! so colourful and i think's that the best :) and it had a good explaination too! :D

After the Camp Comm finished judging each and everyone of the teams, we were excused to go to our respective rooms to take a good rest and shower before dinner and Session 1 :)

Wow it was really amazing to see young people on fire for God! Jumping around! Shouting and singing! woohoo!

After that, it was preaching time! Guess who we have this year?! Ps Chris Long!

He's really funny and I believed everyone enjoyed his message! I think almost every one came forward for the altar call to either receive salvation or re-dedication! It was great :D

After all that, we had night devotions! Then supper in our rooms :D

But for the worship team, we had to stay back a bit longer after everything was over for further practice! I really love the sacrifice we did. We were all so tired but still we dedicated ourselves to practice! :)

Gas Leak

A yucky smell broke out in school today.. It was the smell of gas! Teachers suspected it was a gas leak from the science classes. Therefore, we were all moved to the gym to wait upon further instructions.

We got into our respective classes and took attendance to make sure everyone was not in any other class as the gas might be explosive.

Waited inside the gym for about 45 mins, and in the end the assistant principal came and told us that it was safe to go back to class.

We were so close to going home!! If only someone fainted or someone got injured due to the gas.. hahaha joking! :p

If someone got injured, I bet that person would sue the school.. :s

Anyway! The gas didn't come from the school.. It was said that it came from a construction site near the football field.. It was the construction site for our new auditorium.. So the wind might have blew the fumes to our side of the school. Therefore, the smell was strong!

But then again, it wasn't from the construction site which was totally weird! There wasn't any other place that it could have come from.. So I have no idea..

Thank God we are all safe and sound :)

How should we know...? In the original rules it says 4-6 minutes time limit..

When I found out that we got DQ.. I asked the judge, and he said we passed the 4 minutes time limit..

Huh?? Why change one? We didn't even know! 4 minutes and 4-6 minutes is totally different! Only if i still had the form, I'd take a picture and prove to them.. and to all who read this..

But never mind la, we had fun :) Everyone said we were the best!

Casual clothes day for Haiti.. Managed to raise around $5000+ for them! :) Lots of cupcakes, brownies, and drinks were on sale.

Battle of the bands auditions!

My brother's band which includes himself, me, mark, shaun and jun sheng.

We played Love Drunk by boys like girls.

I think it was good :) but it could have been better if the sound was all balanced..

Anyway, we made it through to the finals this coming Wednesday! :D

Before anything actually happened.. The last thing anyone would forget is their ticket.. Well not me! I forgot my ticket when I arrived there! hahaha how dumb of me :p

But thankfully my driver was able to send me home to get my ticket :)

I had to have my ticket! The grand draw was a Samsung 32-inch LCD screen! D:

I'm not going to let my ticket go to waste! But unfortunately, I didn't win it :(

Anyway, for me, the next best prize were altec lansing speakers!

What a wonderful holiday! and I'm back :p I wish it could be longer, but nevertheless! It's great to be back :) hehe I have no idea where to start.. I kind of forgot the beginning part of my holiday. This post will only be my cruise trip! Kunming will be next time.. A lot to post and upload!

First of all, we arrived at Singapore at 10th December :)

Stayed overnight at Meritus Mandarin Hotel! So nice the decorations :) Especially this tree hehe

Singapore city decorations are so nice!

Ate at a Korean restaurant that night :)

The next day,

off to CRUISE!!! :D The cruise name was Legend of the Seas. There's other types of cruises also by the same company but this one came to Asia since it's freezing cold in USA.

There's two swimming pools on the highest deck of the cruise! really great and beautiful scenery! We even got to see the sunset in the middle of the sea!

When it was around 730pm, it was still bright! haha

This was part of the inside of the ship.. like in the center of the ship there's 2 elevators

The cruise was full of FOOD! 24 hours free food! The dinner especially was the best! Every night we get to sit on a specific table. FINE DINING! FREE!

I ate this on my first night in the cruise hehe

All these food are free! included in the cost of the room

Let's get those taste buds going! :)

On Saturday night, we had to wear formal. Each day would be different type of wear, such as casual and smart casual.

On our last night, all the chefs and waiters came out to sing a song in Chinese since most of us on the boat were Chinese. There was about 800+ Singaporeans! :O

As you can see, pizza and burger bar! haha all day food only =.= I ate a lot and not going to exercise! Until after o levels maybe :p

We stopped at Port Kelang on the 2nd day afternoon.

Our room cleaner was the best! Everyday there was a new towel buddy haha can you name all of them? :p

It was very windy outside!

Oh we also had a emergency escape drill just in case! It was freaking hot to wait outside the ship where there was direct sunlight..

There was a casino too! not that big but it's the first I've ever seen :) hahah we had to pass through the casino to go to some parts of the cruise..

While they were busy climbing, I decided to play mini golf with my dad :)

There were lots of activities for family to do together!

Played firecrackers again! YES! The best time of the year.. Richmond's 2 friends came along so we had to show them crazy bang.. We put it between a branch on the tree.. It was so thick D:

3, 2, 1, BOOM! The branch didn't break.. but it had cracks in it! And a lot of leaves fell off.. haha it's so funny when Richmond's friend said, "If you bring this to Singapore, not only the police will come but the whole Singapore Army will hunt you down." or something like that haha :D

I had fun showing magic tricks to people :) Especially to the adults after almost everyone left..

Oh and pearly gave me my late birthday present! :p it was a duck glove?? :D and lots of chocolates! Thanks P!

movie marathon

it's really good!
i watched it the first time last week or was it last 2 weeks?
then i watched it again cuz i kept thinking about it...

no matter what critics/reviews/people say, i think it's a really really good movie.
not like your regular chickflicks or rom-com movies (romantic comedy). its like above average for a movie in that genre.

it's unpredictable! unless you watched the korean version before...
i wanna watch that too! hehe
gonna borrow it from abi. or maybe buy it myself..

anyway, i've watched so many movies these couple of days....

firstly, on the 2nd last day of school i think..... my classmates and i decided to have a movie marathon.
they brought Speakers, Laptops, a Projector, pillows, sleeping dolls, sleeping bags, etc

we watched Pink Panther 1, first few snippets of Titanic (it jammed) then I Love You Beth Cooper (stupid movie but i kinda liked the ending)

then a classmate and i walked to his house to get his Blu-ray Zombieland and Jennifer's Body. it's so close to school! we asked the security guard and he permitted! how nice :)

the rest stayed back to watch Paranormal Activity... i heard it was scary and it's a true story.. eeeee.

then i borrowed my classmates dvds:

Started off with ROAD TRIP!

Our bus driver

First day, Friday,

After session 1, we went to Parkson Mall to do some shopping and stuff.

We decided to eat Mac Donald's which had the worst queue ever! It was so slow...... =.= but of course in the end, we enjoyed our lovely burgers and fries :)

After that, we went our separate ways to do shopping.. some went to Salvation and others.

As for me, I was looking for one specific thing.. PLAYING CARDS!

Sam said there was a shop in imperial mall so Me, Sam Kuan, Sam Chin and Ps. Peh Han decided to walk to Imperial Mall which is about 15 minutes worth of walking I think..

So as we arrived, we only had 5 minutes to look around 3 floors of stores.. before we had to walk back to Parkson and get picked up by Bong. Otherwise, we might get left behind.. :s

As we got back, Sam Chin was exhausted.. he wanted to cry.. Sam Kuan wanted to walk to another shop quickly before going back to Bong's car.. Without noticing anything, the next thing we knew was Sam Chin was missing! Ps. Peh Han panicked and so did we..

I asked my brother if he was him and he said no.. D:

But thank God he arrived safely back to the hotel.. He as a small kid is smart! As in he knows how to find his way back.. wow D: He walked himself alone to Bong's car... If me, I would be scared hahah if i was that young..

At night was session 2, it was great! Especially the altar call!

Slept around 2am and woke up around 6am for the next day's practice!

Our youth band has given the chance to lead worship for the Saturday's morning session :)

Thank you GOD!

After the 3rd session, we went for swimming and to the so called "beach".

I helped some people around in the pool in case they couldn't swim.. Like SOME people ;p haha not mentioning who! :D

After session 4 at night, I got knocked out! I was so dead tired! But while I was sleeping, some of the guys and girls went swimming at night! Around 2am? crazily cold! I salute them! haha I wish I had the pictures.. I shall post their cool pictures up when I get them :)

Woke up early again the next day.. Serving for the worship team led by Ps. Carumba..

This was the last session :( And had a wonderful experience from God! I actually teared when Ps. Yang was praying for me.. It has been quite a long time since this happened.. I can't tell what he said.. sorry!

Our bus was suppose to pick us at 230pm... Unfortunately, the bus driver got mistaken that it was the NEXT day.. So we had to wait for him and he came around 430pm.. Wasted 2 hours D: but nevertheless! we had more bonding time :)

Everyone was absolutely quiet in the bus! D: I think everyone was crazily tired.. The traffic at the immigration was something I have never seen before.. But thanks to our cool bus driver! He went on the opposite lane which was of course illegal.. hahahaha and we got pass through before any other car behind us. If it wasn't for that, we would be stuck there for at least another 1 hour! D:

Arrived back safely to bandar around 9pm? Slept through all the way right after immigration :) hehe. Glad to be back but also missing everything!

woohoo church tomorrow :) the songs for this week's praise and worship are :

Had an awesome worship practice today! :D Went all crazy and stuff! Only if you were there you could imagine it :) haha

At night we went to watch 2012! Me, dave, aaron, mark, jason, sophia, veivien, alisa, abi and shaun.

Such a long movie but nevertheless! It was good :)

I hope everyone had a good Saturday night..

School was tiring!

My tutor group drew this for our classroom!

So nice D:

During tutor time, we had to cut out green feet =.= for our house song coming up before school ends..

I showed some magic tricks to my friends :D

and also the DUCK SONG! :D

Even my tutor teacher was singing after it ends and asked me if I had any grapes.. HAHA

at night I went to Ps Benny Ho's meeting until around 10+.. It was good :)

Then went home to practice guitar for today's practice :D

School today was torture! During P.E. we had this physical fitness crap.. =.= non-stop for 8 minutes we had to do a circuit of 8 different types of exercise repeatedly.. Even the tough guys in my class couldn't take it after 8 minutes..

I think I have started to like magic tricks again.. D:

I can't wait for worship practice.. It's the most funnest and fulfilling day of the week!

Oh and CLARIS gave me this as a late birthday present :)
